Involvement

Volunteer

As an Adoption Guarantee Organization, no animal in our care is euthanized unless it is suffering or considered dangerous, which can lead to a lot of homeless and neglected pets in need of our help. Being 100% volunteer managed and operated, Oreo’s Rescue is forever grateful for the generous gift of time from our active volunteer members. There is a place here for everyone who would like to volunteer or learn more about caring for pets and the education of adopters. Foster

The best way to ensure a loving, permanent home for the pets is through the education of responsible pet ownership for future adopters, and solid, reliable foster homes while the pets are in our care.
All the pets at Oreo’s Rescue are cared for by a team of volunteers which includes these invaluable temporary foster homes. A foster home not only takes on the day-to-day responsibility of care, but also helps temperament test and evaluate the long-term needs of each individual pet. We rely heavily on the expertise, feedback and care our foster homes provide to help integrate pets into forever homes. Interested in becoming a foster home? Contact us for more information.

Membership

At Oreo’s Animal Rescue, we put your membership dollars to use right away for the care of the pets in our facility. From basic everyday needs, like food and litter, to more extensive medical or behavioral expenses, your support makes a difference right here in the community. We can honor or memorialize a family member, friend or pet with your membership donation; just let us know.
